Forest Conservation for Biodiversity Activities in Saraburi, Thailand

As every year the celebration of an special event held in the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's brithday of Thailand on August 12, 2010.
The cooperation project on forest conservation for biodiversity together with the Royal Forest Department, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is running since 1999.

Opening Ceremony Preparing EM™Bokashi


This year marks the "11th Mountain Loving Day" on August 10, 2010. The main activities are to heal the forest by Nature Farming concepts and using EM technology™.
Participants including SKK officers, Miroku Tropic Botanic Garden staff, Nature Farming School students, volunteers from Bangkok totaled aproximately 350 persons. 
Five tons of EM™ Bokashi and Activated EM•1® were carried to spread in the forest floor.

Continuing this work, the poor vegetation is recovering and becoming greener every year. Furthermore, vegetation firmly rooted in the ground helps to keep soils moisture preventing forest fires during dry season.
