From June 28th to 30th the APNAN (Asia Pacific Natural Agriculture Network) meeting held in Bangkok, Thailand.
Approximately 60 people participated in the meeting including partners from Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mongolia, South Africa and representatives of International Nature Farming Research Center and EM Research Organization.
The first and second day were mainly focused to each countries presentations.
Furthermore, there were guest presentations such as the representative from Tanah Sutera Development Sdn Bhd who presented the construction project of a condominium in Johor Bahru, Malaysia applying EM in their buildings and surrounding gardens. The marketer and distributor from South Africa, representative of EMLife introduced his approaches in the fields of agriculture and environment.
On the second day the dealers meeting held to have a close debate within the International Nature Farming Research Center, EMRO and APNAN countries representatives.
The last day, all the participants along with the International Nature Farming Research Center Chairman of Board and EMRO staff went to the Sampran Riverside, a traditional Thai model village where people can experience living in Thai style. This facility is using EM Technology™ in full making EM™compost with remains of tree brunchs, Activated EM•1® and elephant manure.
The EM™compost is used to fertilize the soils in the sourrinding gardens. They are using Activated EM•1® also to make EM™ mudballs and EM soap.
