In Bhutan, the Ministry of Agriculture expressed a strong interest in the use of EM Technology™ to achieve a “Sustainable and Environmental Consevation Agriculture” and in 1994 signed a memorandum of agreement with APNAN, EMRO and INFRC, leading to the official start of the dissemination of EM™ in the country.
Out of 500 schools including from elementary schools to high schools, more than 150 schools conduct the agricultural training project as one of the education curriculum.
In Bhutan, livestock waste is recycled with EM Technology™ as one of the valuable resources.
