In Egypt EM Technology™ was introduced by former Minister of Environment, Dr. Mamdouh Riad to contribute residents and farmers in Egypt and Middle East area in 1997. Currently EM•1® is manufactured and distributed by Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of State for Environmental Affairs for sustainable agriculture and nature preservation.

EM distributor meeting and EM Lecture by Dr. Teruo Higa in Cairo

egypt01EM distributor meeting and EM Lecture by Dr. Teruo Higa in Cairo were held June 2009 under the assistance from the government of Egypt. The activities and useful information were reported by participants from Middle East and African countries in the meeting.

 

EM application Abrowash STP (Sewage Treatment System)

egypt02Abrowash STP is one of the biggest sewage treatment plants in Cairo, capital city of Egypt and tested several materials to treat the sewage during the construction for expanding the plant. Three materials were nominated for the treatment of sewage and EM shows the high level of purification of water.

 

Dr. Higa visited the remodeled EM factory of Ministry of Agriculture

egypt03In Egypt more than 200 tons of EM•1® was produced and distributed in 2008 and the demand of it is still growing up. The old factory is remodeled to meet the demand of EM•1® in Egypt and Dr. Higa visit the remodeled factory.
