EM Technology™ was introduced in Republic of Yemen by SABA Agriculture and Environment Services in November 2006. Yemen is agricultural country and there are very big markets of agricultural products near Yemen such as Dubai, Doha and Riyadh. SABA is planning to provide organic products with EM™ in those markets.
EM application on qat production
Qat is most popular crop in Yemen and almost all the people chew it for relaxing. However, the use of chemicals on qat production causes the health problem of farmers and consumers and EM™ is coming up as an alternative of chemicals.
Waste water treatment in Sana’a sewage treatment plant
The population in Sana’a, capital city of Yemen is increasing rapidly and the city government faces the problem of sewage treatment. EM™ has been tested as the material to improve the sewage treatment system to cover the over capacity of sewage inflow.
