EM™ was introduced to Mexico in 2007. The manufacture and the promotion of EM™ are conducted in Villahermosa, Tabasco by Desarollo Interal Ambiental (DIA), a company organized by alumni of Earth University, located in Costa Rica. Today, EM™ is widely used in not only environmental field such sewage disposal, but also agricultural and aqua cultural fields such as cacao and tilapia.
Cacao culture is very thriving industry in an area near the Caribbean. The plant growing without EM™ does not come into blossom; on the other hand; you can see blossoms on the tree trunk for plant growing with EM™.
The big problem of cacao culture is Molinia, a type of fungus. Once infected by Molinia, it spreads to other lands unless burning the affected land. Thus, an experiment with EM Technology™ has been conducted to solve this problem.
EM seminar has been held by DIA upon request and it can be held anywhere in Mexico. The picture is the seminar for farmers who are in small- scale cacao culture held in Tabasco.
