Rest in Peace, Mr. Amílcar Salgado López

EMRO is deeply saddened by the loss of our esteemed partner and friend, Mr. Amílcar Salgado López, General Manager of FUNDASES MINUTO DE DIOS in Colombia, who passed away on February 14, 2024.
Mr. Amílcar Salgado López was not only a long-time collaborator but also a pioneering figure for EM Technology in Colombia. His impact extended beyond borders, making him a cherished mentor and friend to other Latin American countries.
With a deep understanding of the principles of the "Earth Saving Revolution," he spearheaded an innovative project aimed at improving the quality of life in communities. Focusing on kitchen waste solutions, this initiative began in Cajica city and later expanded to numerous other cities.
His dedication to spreading the message of EM was marked by humility and love. He leaves behind a legacy of positive change and will be deeply missed by the entire EM world.
